Application
Monitor RORγt transcriptional activity in mammalian cells, screen for activators or inhibitors of RORγt signaling. The fluorescent reporter enables convenient readout using flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, etc. The RORγt reporter utilizes RORγt response elements that have been optimized preferential binding of RORγt vs other ROR TFs. RORγt is considered to be one of the master regulators in the development of T helper 17 cells (Th17 cells), which have an essential role in the development of many autoimmune disorders, including multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis. The tandem repeats of RORγt DNA-binding elements enable to detect the RORγt transcriptional activity.
