Application
Monitor activity of myogenic factors (such as MyoD, Myf5, Myogenin, MRF4, etc.) in mammalian cells, screen for activators or inhibitors of myogenic factors. The fluorescent reporter enables convenient readout using flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, etc. MyoD and Myf5 are active in proliferating myoblasts, whereas Myogenin and MRF4 occur after myoblast exit from the cell cycle.
