Application
Monitor HOXB13 transcriptional activity in mammalian cells, screen for activators or inhibitors of HOXB13. The fluorescent reporter enables convenient readout using flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, etc. HOXB13 functions as an androgen receptor repressor to modulate the complex AR signaling and subsequent growth regulation of prostate cancer (ncbi). The reporter contains 6 tandem repeats of HOXB13 response elements.
