Application
Monitor transcriptional activity of HOXA9 in mammalian cells, screen for activators or inhibitors of HOXA9 transcriptional activity. The fluorescent reporter enables convenient readout using flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, etc. The HOXA9 Reporter Lentivirus is constructed with tandem repeats of the consensus HOXA9 DNA-binding elements which is transcriptionally responsive to the transcription factor HOXA9. The lentiviral HOXA9 reporter is constructed with tandem repeats of the consensus HOXA9 DNA-binding element to measure HOXA9 transcriptional activity in mammalian cells. The HOXA9 reporter construct contains consensus MEIS1 DNA-binding motifs combined with HOXA9 DNA-binding elements. The cooperation between HOXA9 and MEIS1 induces acute myeloid leukemia through mechanisms in which they bind to the super-enhancer regions of genes involved in the growth and less differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells.
